| Ransohoff at its Cincinnati based headquarters and manufacturing
facility is among the first in its industry to achieve certification
to the ISO-14001:2004 global environmental standard.
To earn this recognition, Ransohoff has implemented an Environmental
Management System that has been audited and registered by
BSI. The ISO-14001:2004 standard certifies that a company
has the management systems in place to adequately control
the impact on the environment of its activities, products
and services. The Ransohoff Environmental Management System
represents a structured approach to setting environmental
objectives and targets, assuring compliance to all regulations
and ongoing continuous improvement activities.
In January of 2004, Ransohoff received a Certificate
of Registration for operating a quality management system
that complies with the requirements of ISO 9001:2000 from
BSI Management Systems and in January of 2005, received certificate
of ISO 14001:2004 for complying to the environmental standard.
This success in complying with the ISO family of quality and
environmental standards follows an equally important success
achieved less than two years ago when Ransohoff achieved certification
as a Ford Q1 supplier and Ford's Green status for Reliability
& Maintenance.
Ransohoff's commitment to continuous improvement in its quality
programs, reinforces total customer satisfaction and the importance
of being a good neighbor in the community.
